Privacy Policy for Pour Across America
Data Collection: We collect your email address for account authentication via Supabase. We store your wine journal entries (names, ratings, photos, and notes) locally and in our secure database.
AI Label Scanning: When you use the label-scanning feature to log a wine, the photo you capture is sent to OpenAI (via the GPT-4o API) for the sole purpose of extracting text and identifying wine details to pre-fill your tasting entry. This image is processed by OpenAI’s API and is not used by OpenAI to train their models under their API data usage policy. We do not share any other personal or account data with OpenAI as part of this feature.
Usage: Your data is used solely to provide the wine journaling service and analytics to you. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Third Parties: We use Supabase for database and authentication services, and OpenAI for AI-powered label scanning (see above).
Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account). This action is immediate and irreversible.
Age Requirement: Users must be of legal drinking age in their respective jurisdiction to use this application.
